About this cruise

Suluada Island boat trip from Antalya is one of the rising stars among excursions. The magical, azure Suluada, an island of diamond-clear waters, fresh sea breeze and pristine Mediterranean nature, will amaze you. You've probably seen the Turkish 'Maldives' on TikTok videos or TV at least once; now it's your chance to visit it.

Take a tour on a comfortable boat along the Mediterranean coast to and around Suluada Island. Enjoy swimming stops at white sandy beaches and several lagoons of Turkish Maldives.

As you approach the white sands and crystalline waters of Suluada, you will feel like you are approaching your dream island. Suluada beach is similar to tropical beaches. You can surely see that as you take in the beauty of this solitary island in the Mediterranean Sea.

Suluada is a snorkeler's paradise as the waters teem with fish and marine life. Caretta Caretta turtles often accompany the boats. It is common to spot dolphins en route. If the marine animals love this island so much, it is easy to see why and you are sure to have the most relaxing day out!

The rocky formation of the island provides a sharp contrast to the stunning natural beaches as they meet the tepid, still waters of the Mediterranean.

There is an abundance of caves dotted along the island's coast. You will find caves below the surface should you wish to dive deeper. One of the most visited caves runs from the side of one rock to the other, creating an opening ideal for bathing or taking photographs.

What you'll see

Enjoy clear water and sandy beaches with three swim breaks.
Swim in clear pools and have a BBQ lunch on the boat.
Have a lazy day out: swim — snorkel, sunbathe.
Relax in shaded spots or sunbathe upstairs.

    Swimming Breaks

Your first swimming break will be in the south of Suluada and will last around 1 hour. Then, you will head off to the island's north and enjoy another swimming break. You will also have lunch there. There is nothing quite like smelling the barbecue as you build up an appetite with a refreshing swim.

After lunch, you will stop at the cave eastern side of the island, where you can swim from one side to the other. You will have around 1 hour to swim, snorkel and take lots of photographs.

On the return journey to Adrasan, the captain may opt to stop for a final swimming break according to sea conditions before taking you safely back to the harbour.

Your transfer vehicle will wait at the harbour to return you to your original pick point. So you are sure to return to your hotel feeling relaxed and refreshed, ready to enjoy the rest of your holiday fully.

How much is Antalya Suluada Tour?

What do I need to take with me?

Bring swimming costumes, towels, sun cream, goggles, and snorkel equipment. In addition, you may need a little money to buy drinks or snacks during the day.

What if I don’t swim, is it worth going?

The waters at the beaches on the island are incredibly shallow, and non-swimmers can happily paddle to shore and enjoy the beach.

However, if you prefer not to go in the water, you can enjoy a chilled-out boat ride, taking in the most exquisite scenery and, maybe, even do a spot of dolphin watching!

The waters are generally tranquil, and there is slight rocking on the ship. Most guests don't experience any problems at all.

However, if you are prone to seasickness and have doubts, you should have your medication with you in the unlikely event that you need them.

How far is it?

The boat leaves from the village of Adrasan, which is just under 2 hours away from Antalya. Suluada is located just off the coast of Adrasan, with a sailing time of around 45 minutes.

The island itself is genuinely stunning — that water colour is unlike anything we'd seen before.

What they didn't like

The BBQ lunch was pretty underwhelming for the price, and as a couple we felt the boat was a bit too crowded to fully relax.

Absolutely breathtaking day — the turquoise water at Suluada lived up to every photo we'd seen, and the wooden boat itself was the most comfortable we've been on anywhere.

Coming from Australia, we've seen our fair share of beautiful coastline, but Suluada still managed to catch us completely off guard — the water is an almost unreal shade of turquoise and the snorkelling on the south side of the island was genuinely spectacular, with great visibility and plenty to explore. The wooden boat itself was a highlight too; it had a real character to it, with plenty of room on the upper deck sun beds and comfortable shaded seating below when we needed a break from the sun. The swim-through sea cave was a brilliant touch and easily the most memorable stop of the day.

What they didn't like

Our main gripe was with the BBQ lunch — for a full-day excursion it was fairly underwhelming, just basic grilled chicken and bread, which felt a little thin on value given the overall cost of the trip. The crew were friendly enough and clearly knew the waters well, but communication during the day was a bit patchy; we weren't always sure how long we had at each stop or what was coming next, which made it harder to plan when to snorkel versus relax.
