My partner and I chose this trip on a whim after spotting it online, and honestly it exceeded pretty much everything we'd hoped for — the water around Suluada is a genuinely extraordinary shade of turquoise, and photographs simply don't do it justice. The crew were the real highlight, though: attentive, funny, and clearly passionate about showing guests the best of the island, from pointing out a sea turtle gliding past during the second swimming stop to shepherding everyone safely through the sea cave, which was a brilliant, slightly hair-raising experience. Lunch was a decent spread too, served while the boat bobbed gently off the north shore, and the whole day had a relaxed, unhurried rhythm to it that suited us perfectly.
The only thing we'd flag is that the upper deck sun beds fill up fast, and as the boat was fairly well occupied on the day we went, we found ourselves without a dedicated spot for a good part of the morning — a small frustration on what was otherwise a faultless outing.
