As a solo traveller from Canada, I wasn't sure how the day would feel on my own, but the crew made me feel completely at home from the first minute — warm, attentive, genuinely funny, and exactly the kind of people who make a trip unforgettable. Suluada itself blew me away: the water is this impossible shade of turquoise that no photograph does justice to, and snorkelling through the sea cave on the east side of the island was one of the most magical things I've ever done. The BBQ lunch was generous and delicious, the sun beds on the upper deck were comfortable, and the whole day felt effortlessly well organised — pickup, sailing, swim stops, all of it running smoothly without any sense of rush.
