Suluada Island boat trip from Antalya is one of the rising stars among excursions. The magical, azure Suluada, an island of diamond-clear waters, fresh sea breeze and pristine Mediterranean nature, will amaze you. You've probably seen the Turkish 'Maldives' on TikTok videos or TV at least once; now it's your chance to visit it.
Take a tour on a comfortable boat along the Mediterranean coast to and around Suluada Island. Enjoy swimming stops at white sandy beaches and several lagoons of Turkish Maldives.
As you approach the white sands and crystalline waters of Suluada, you will feel like you are approaching your dream island. Suluada beach is similar to tropical beaches. You can surely see that as you take in the beauty of this solitary island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Suluada is a snorkeler's paradise as the waters teem with fish and marine life. Caretta Caretta turtles often accompany the boats. It is common to spot dolphins en route. If the marine animals love this island so much, it is easy to see why and you are sure to have the most relaxing day out!
The rocky formation of the island provides a sharp contrast to the stunning natural beaches as they meet the tepid, still waters of the Mediterranean.
There is an abundance of caves dotted along the island's coast. You will find caves below the surface should you wish to dive deeper. One of the most visited caves runs from the side of one rock to the other, creating an opening ideal for bathing or taking photographs.
Your first swimming break will be in the south of Suluada and will last around 1 hour. Then, you will head off to the island's north and enjoy another swimming break. You will also have lunch there. There is nothing quite like smelling the barbecue as you build up an appetite with a refreshing swim.
After lunch, you will stop at the cave eastern side of the island, where you can swim from one side to the other. You will have around 1 hour to swim, snorkel and take lots of photographs.
On the return journey to Adrasan, the captain may opt to stop for a final swimming break according to sea conditions before taking you safely back to the harbour.
Your transfer vehicle will wait at the harbour to return you to your original pick point. So you are sure to return to your hotel feeling relaxed and refreshed, ready to enjoy the rest of your holiday fully.
Pick-up is available from Kemer, Tekirova, Göynük and Beldibi hotels for €26; from Konyaaltı, Antalya, Lara and Kundu hotels for €28; from Belek and Boğazkent hotels for €30; and from Side and Manavgat hotels for €40. The price includes Hotel Transfer (Both Ways), Guiding Service, Lunch, Insurance.
The cost of the Antalya Suluada Tour is 30 € for adults, 20 € for children between the ages of 4 and 11, and free for children under four years old in 2026.
Bring swimming costumes, towels, sun cream, goggles, and snorkel equipment. In addition, you may need a little money to buy drinks or snacks during the day.
The waters at the beaches on the island are incredibly shallow, and non-swimmers can happily paddle to shore and enjoy the beach.
However, if you prefer not to go in the water, you can enjoy a chilled-out boat ride, taking in the most exquisite scenery and, maybe, even do a spot of dolphin watching!
You will find that a day out on the boat to Suluada is a slow and calm excursion.
The waters are generally tranquil, and there is slight rocking on the ship. Most guests don't experience any problems at all.
However, if you are prone to seasickness and have doubts, you should have your medication with you in the unlikely event that you need them.
The boat leaves from the village of Adrasan, which is just under 2 hours away from Antalya. Suluada is located just off the coast of Adrasan, with a sailing time of around 45 minutes.
Coming from Australia, we've seen our fair share of beautiful coastline, but Suluada still managed to catch us completely off guard — the water is an almost unreal shade of turquoise and the snorkelling on the south side of the island was genuinely spectacular, with great visibility and plenty to explore. The wooden boat itself was a highlight too; it had a real character to it, with plenty of room on the upper deck sun beds and comfortable shaded seating below when we needed a break from the sun. The swim-through sea cave was a brilliant touch and easily the most memorable stop of the day.
Our main gripe was with the BBQ lunch — for a full-day excursion it was fairly underwhelming, just basic grilled chicken and bread, which felt a little thin on value given the overall cost of the trip. The crew were friendly enough and clearly knew the waters well, but communication during the day was a bit patchy; we weren't always sure how long we had at each stop or what was coming next, which made it harder to plan when to snorkel versus relax.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience — we're delighted that Suluada's waters and the sea cave left such a lasting impression! We genuinely take your feedback about the lunch and on-board communication to heart, and we're actively working to improve both the meal offering and how our crew keeps guests informed throughout the day. We hope to welcome you back on board should you find yourselves on Turkey's Mediterranean coast again. Warm regards, Book From Locals
Brilliant day out with the kids — the crew were so patient and kind with our little ones, and the sea cave stop had them absolutely buzzing for the whole journey home.
We brought the whole extended family along — grandparents right down to the youngest grandchildren — and Suluada itself did not disappoint; those turquoise waters really do live up to the hype, and the swim-through sea cave was an absolute highlight that had even the teenagers genuinely excited. The BBQ lunch on board was decent enough and kept everyone fed, and the boat having both sun beds on the upper deck and shaded seating below meant the older members of the family could stay comfortable while the kids soaked up the sun.
That said, for a group our size the price adds up quickly and we did feel the drinks on board were quite expensive, so factor that into your budget if you're travelling with a crowd. The crew were perfectly pleasant but not especially attentive or engaging with the children, which was a small shame, and the two-hour transfer from Antalya felt particularly long with little ones getting restless — worth knowing before you book if you have young kids or elderly travellers in tow.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review, and what a wonderful way to spend a day together as an extended family! We're delighted Suluada's waters and the sea cave created some memorable moments for everyone. We take your feedback about the drinks pricing and the long transfer journey seriously, and we'll pass your comments about engaging more with younger guests on to our crew. We hope to welcome your family back again someday! — Book From Locals
The water around Suluada was genuinely stunning — we've snorkelled in a lot of places as a couple and this ranks near the top.
The drive from Antalya is long and the lunch felt pretty basic for the price.
Thank you both for sailing with us! We're thrilled the snorkelling impressed you, and we take your feedback on the lunch quality and transfer distance to heart — we're always looking for ways to improve the overall value. Hope to welcome you back someday! — Book From Locals
