    Antalya waterfall boat trip departs from Kundu River, which is close to many hotels in Lara, Kundu and Belek.

    With no lengthy transfers required from your hotel to the harbour, the boat sets sail at 10:00 AM.

    The boat is double-decked with downstairs shade and upstairs sunny seating areas. It has a bar, two toilets, changing rooms, fresh water showers and ladders to get in and out of the sea easily.

    There are two boats, one with a 50-person capacity and the other with an 80-person capacity.

    After half an hour from departing, you will have the first swim break for 20 minutes offshore of Lara Beach.

Such a lovely way to spend a morning on the water — the coastline is dramatic, the crew were attentive, and sailing up close to the Duden Waterfall and feeling the spray on your face is genuinely something special.

What they didn't like

For what you pay, we felt the lunch portion sizes were a little on the small side.

We brought our three kids along — ages four, seven, and ten — honestly not knowing what to expect from a boat trip in a foreign country, and this ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our entire vacation. From the moment the minibus showed up at our hotel right on time, everything felt smooth and well-organized, which as any parent of young children knows is half the battle. The boat itself was fantastic — plenty of shade on the lower deck for when the little one got tired, but the upper deck gave the older two a chance to soak up the sun and spot the sea caves along the cliffs. Getting up close to the Duden Waterfall and feeling that cool mist on our faces was genuinely magical, and our kids still talk about it; the crew made sure even our youngest felt safe leaning over to feel the spray. Lunch was a pleasant surprise too — the meatballs and chicken were both hot and flavorful, and the soft drinks being included meant we weren't constantly fishing for our wallets, which we really appreciated.

What they didn't like

Our guide was wonderful overall, though there were a couple of moments where the commentary got a little hard to follow over the noise of the boat — not a dealbreaker at all, just something to be aware of if you're eager to catch every detail about the coastline.

Als Schweizer Paar, das Komfort und Organisation gewohnt ist, waren wir insgesamt positiv überrascht von diesem Ausflug. Die Fahrt entlang der Felsklippen war wirklich malerisch, und der Moment, als das Boot direkt vor den Düden-Wasserfall fuhr und die Gischt uns ins Gesicht wehte, war schlichtweg beeindruckend. Die Besatzung war freundlich und aufmerksam, der Ablauf gut koordiniert, und das Mittagessen – besonders die Fleischbällchen und der gegrillte Hähnchen – war für Bordverpflegung durchaus schmackhaft. Der Badeaufenthalt beim Wasserfall gab uns genug Zeit, um wirklich ins Wasser zu springen und die Umgebung zu genießen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben.

What they didn't like

Was uns etwas störte, war die Enge auf dem Oberdeck – bei einem so voll besetzten Boot wurde es schwierig, überhaupt einen freien Platz in der Sonne zu ergattern, und das Unterdeck war zwar schattig, aber doch recht gedrängt. Für den Preis hätten wir uns etwas mehr Platz und vielleicht eine etwas längere Badezeit beim ersten Stoppstopp gewünscht.

Absolutely brilliant day out for our family — the kids were in awe of the waterfall spray from the front of the boat, and the two swim stops gave them plenty of time to splash around and wear themselves out. The lunch was generous and tasty, the crew were fantastic with the little ones, and we felt genuinely looked after the whole trip.
