    Pick-up

    Antalya waterfall boat trip departs from Kundu River, which is close to many hotels in Lara, Kundu and Belek.

    With no lengthy transfers required from your hotel to the harbour, the boat sets sail at 10:00 AM.

    The boat is double-decked with downstairs shade and upstairs sunny seating areas. It has a bar, two toilets, changing rooms, fresh water showers and ladders to get in and out of the sea easily.

    There are two boats, one with a 50-person capacity and the other with an 80-person capacity.

    After half an hour from departing, you will have the first swim break for 20 minutes offshore of Lara Beach.

    Next, boat will approach the Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, where you can take amazing photos. If you go to the front of the boat, you can feel the spray from the waterfall.

Traveling solo, I wasn't sure how this trip would feel, but the crew made me feel completely welcome from the moment the minibus picked me up at my hotel. The guide was genuinely outstanding — knowledgeable, funny, and attentive without being overbearing, checking in throughout the day to make sure I had everything I needed. Sailing past those sea caves and limestone cliffs was something else entirely, and getting to stand at the bow while the Duden Waterfall sprayed over us was one of those unexpected moments that sticks with you. The lunch spread was better than I expected for a boat trip — the BBQ chicken was actually well seasoned and the portions were generous. Being able to just grab a cold drink, find a quiet corner on the upper deck, and take it all in at my own pace made for an incredibly relaxed afternoon.

The second swim stop felt a little rushed — I'd barely settled into the water before we were being called back on board. Would have loved just another fifteen minutes there.
