    Antalya waterfall boat trip departs from Kundu River, which is close to many hotels in Lara, Kundu and Belek.

    With no lengthy transfers required from your hotel to the harbour, the boat sets sail at 10:00 AM.

Our kids absolutely loved every minute of this trip — from waving at the sea caves to standing at the front and getting soaked by the waterfall spray, they were in their element the whole time. The crew were fantastic with the children, attentive and cheerful, and the included lunch kept even our fussiest eater happy.

What they didn't like

The soft drinks ran a little low towards the end, but it was nothing the bar couldn't sort out quickly.

Coming from the US, my partner and I were excited to try something a bit different from the usual resort pool day, and the idea of swimming near a waterfall from a boat genuinely appealed to us. The Lower Duden Waterfall itself did not disappoint — standing at the bow with spray hitting your face was a memorable moment, and the coastal scenery with the sea caves and cliffs was prettier than we expected. The boat was reasonably comfortable, the crew was friendly enough, and having cold soft drinks available throughout the day was appreciated in the heat.

What they didn't like

That said, we left feeling like the trip didn't quite deliver on its promise for the price we paid. The swim stop at the waterfall felt frustratingly brief — barely enough time to get in the water and appreciate being there before we were called back — and the lunch was underwhelming: the meatballs were dry and the chicken looked like it had been sitting out for a while. Given what similar excursions cost elsewhere in Turkey, we expected a bit more polish and a little less of a rushed, assembly-line feel to the whole thing.
