Side jeep safari & rafting tour is a great idea to spend a hot day away from the city, by a mountain river, in the freshness of the forest. We offer you a combined tour that unites two of the most popular activities in Turkey - rafting and jeep safari. It also includes a visit to two beautiful canyons, Köprülü and Tazi.
We set off to Köprülü Canyon on open-top Land Rover Defender off-road vehicles (seats up to 12 people) directly from the hotel. After instruction at Köprülü Park, we visit its most beautiful spots and drive to Tazi Canyon. Both locations are stunning, as if made for landscape photography. The views are breathtaking, even for the advanced tourist.
After lunch you'll be provided with equipment, told about safety measures and start floating on rafts (sturdy inflatable boats) along mountain river Köprüçay. Thresholds are very easy to pass, so even kids can be taken on the tour. The length of rafting is 7-9 km. We recommend to take slippers or special shoes for walking on stones in the water (coral shoes) and other swimming accessories, as well as drinking water.
Hotel transfers to and from the hotel, lunch, jeep tours to both canyons, an experienced instructor for each raft and all rafting equipment are included in the tour price. The tour runs daily from morning until about 4-5pm.
This is a combination of two high adrenalin tours sure to get your heart racing and fulfil your lustre for adventure! You will join the jeep safari and experience the off road driving the dirt and mud of the countryside before grabbing the paddles to row over the white waters of the Koprucay River.
Your customised Land Rover is the perfect vehicle in which to navigate the twists and turns both on and off road and you will enjoy the feel of the wind in your hair and the sun on your face as you explore the wilderness in your all terrain vehicle. Of course, it’s not all about the adrenalin rush, you will be able to enjoy the smell of the citrus orchards as you drive off road past ancient bridges and cities on the way to the rafting base.
Once you have had your fill of bumpy roads and dusty paths you will be able to take to the cool waters of the Koprucay River and have a go at ‘body rafting’ which will enable you to acclimatise to the refreshing waters. This is a great team building exercise and if you haven’t already made friends with your ‘jeep’ mates you are sure to bond quickly before being given your oars.
The Koprucay river consists of mainly grade 2 rapids so that even the most novice among you will be able to navigate them easily and with around 14 km of river to traverse, you are sure to have a great time on the river. The Koprucay River is one of the most popular destinations in Turkey for keen rafters and it is easy to see why once you experience the tree lined waters that run freely down to the sea.

Cost of Side Jeep, Rafting, Tazi Canyon (Combo Tour) is 30 € for adults, 20 € for children between 6 - 11 years old, free for children at and under 5 years old in 2026.
There are special water shoes available to buy at the base. You should wear sports shoes or comfortable shoes that won’t come off in the water. Flip flops are definitely not permitted.
It is preferable to wear your swim wear underneath some light clothing as you are likely to get dusty on the jeep and most definitely wet at the river! It would be a great idea to bring a spare set of clothes with you for your comfort.
Due to the nature of this trip expectant mothers or lesser able bodied persons should not attend this tour.
While lunch is included, any drinks you consume are not. You will need some money for drinks and should you wish to buy the DVD of the day then you will need enough money with you to do so. There are also water shoes and other items for sale at the base so a small amount of shopping money is recommended.
All the jeeps are kitted with seat belts and will not exceed a speed of 50 km per hour. Rafting is completed under supervision of a professional instructor who will assist you with any difficulties.
Due to the nature of the excursion you should be comfortable in the water and have the ability to swim.
