Quad biking in Side is the most popular tour in the area for people seeking adrenaline. You enjoy the drive, the twists and turns that take your breath away, the puddles and rivers, and the interesting track. The tour takes place in the forests of Taurus Mountains in Köprülü Canyon Park.
Helmets for your safety, experienced instructors, and four-wheel drive ATVs in good working condition are there to make sure you have a good and comfortable rest. You will receive a training session at the beginning, and you will get a chance to drive your ATV and take it for a test drive. The quad safari consists of two parts of approximately one hour each with a break for a short rest. You may reserve either a single or a double quad. Children 7+ can participate accompanied by an adult while sitting at the back of the vehicle. You may drive the quad yourself if you are at least 16 years old. Total tour time is approximately 2 hours. If you fear driving the quad, book a buggy which is more stable and perfectly safe.
A lot of people are confused: how can they come back to the hotel dirty after driving through puddles? Don’t worry, the safari base is equipped with showers, bring a change of clothes. We advise you not to wear white clothes on a quad safari and take sunglasses, a bandana or scarf to protect your face from the dust.
Transfers are included in the ticket price, as well as helmets. A comfortable minibus will pick you up from your hotel and bring you back rested and satisfied.

You will experience the thrill of achievement when you negotiate the difficult paths and drive through the water successfully. This is an adrenalin ride that will last around two hours, and all along the magnificent scenery of the Taurus mountains and the distant Mediterrenean.

River riding is a great time to wash of the dust and mud you are sure to encounter along the way but don’t be fooled there is always the return journey!

You will be picked up at your hotel or apartment in the Side region and taken to the uad centre at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. Once you arrive at the base you will receive a safety talk from our qualified instructors and introduced to your quad. You will have the chance to ride singly or in tandem. It should be noted that a second rider on the same quad pays less and you will later have the chance to swap driving seats so that both riders have a turn at driving. You will then have a short test drive to get you used to your ATV. All the vehicles are 4 x 4 and built for the off road experience of a lifetime.
When everyone is good to go you begin the course. You will be taken over terrain of varying difficulties, through the dusty off roads to the wet and muddy road puddles along the way. Your instructor will be with you all the way to guide you through and give you their best advice. You will travel in convoy so that no one is left alone to fend for themselves. Your safety is paramount at all times.
Part of your tour will involve river driving, and you are welcome to take a break and have a swim and cool off, about half way around the quad route. This is a welcome break for many and a chance to wash off some dust and mud.
Because of the nature of the tour we do not recommend you bring your own camera or mobile phone. There is, however, a resident professional photographer travelling with you, to capture those extreme moments of action and fun. Any photographs taken will be available for you to purchase at the end of your tour.
Once you have completed the course, which usually takes about two hours , you will be brought back to base where you can view your photographs or DVD, purchase a refreshment and get ready for return to your original pick up point in Side.
