Marmaris jeep safari is an 8-hour off-road experience in the counryside and the forest. Visit waterfalls, beaches and traditional villages.
What better way to explore the countryside surrounding Marmaris than by a 4x4 Land Rover Jeep that has been modified for touristic purposes? Feel the wind in your hair and enjoy the breeze as you take a leisurely drive into the mountains and along the Aegean coast. There really is no better way to keep cool on a hot summer’s day than on Jeep Safari.
You will enjoy visits to the stunning land formation at Kizkumu Beach where the fresh water runs of the mountain meeting the salty sea water. Here there are silt deposits that have created a walkway out into the sea that at certain times of the day can give the illusion of walking on water. It is known locally as ‘virgin’ beach as there is a local legend about a young girl caught here by the tide. Your well versed guide is sure to share this legend with you and more as they accompany on your day out.
You will make stops at local villages where you can witness local life as it carries on around you and you will get to take a dip in the refreshingly cold waters at Turgut Waterfall. Whilst the waterfall itself is not particularly large you will be amazed at the flora and fauna that is found in this area as you explore under the canopy of the trees that line the water’s edge.
One of the highlights of the day and something that Marmaris Jeep safaris have become renowned for is the water fight. This is where everyone becomes a big kid as you battle it out between the jeeps to see who can soak the others first. This is accompanied by some light off road action and really is a great experience!
