Marmaris buggy safari is a 2-hour off-road safari with powerful buggy cars on the countryside of Marmaris.
With similarities to the Quad Safari, the difference here is that you will ride side by side in frame cars, or buggies as they are often called. Through the same mountain route along the pine trees and rivers, through the mud and dust tracks. That is about where the similarity ends. The frame cars are made for you to sit side by side and travel much lower to the ground than the quads. This also makes it easier for younger members of the family to travel with an adult.
With the lower seating, driver and passenger are bound to get wet when riding through the river, but on a hot day, this can be a welcome reprieve from the heat. Riding through the beautiful mountain scenery above the city of Marmaris can be a liberating adrenalin experience. The buggies seem to travel fast because of their light weight and lower bearing, but are actually no faster or slower than their heavier quad counterparts, although perhaps a lot more fun!

From there taken to the base high above Marmaris, where you will meet your English speaking instructor. You will receive a safety talk about the buggies and given a helmet (mandatory) for the duration of your tour, which will be about 3 hours in total.
After the safety talk you will enjoy 10 minute or so tuition time where you can travel around the base getting used to your new vehicle. When the Instructor is satisfied that everyone can handle the buggies accordingly, your safari begins!
You will ride for approximately 1,5 hour through the beautiful pine forests and along the muddy, dustry, dry and wet track, using your newly found expertise to negotiate the route. Your tour travels in a convoy, with one ınstructor leading and one at the rear of the group. This is so that in the unlikely event of a mechanical or driver failure, one of them can be instantly at your side to help you out. Your safety is of the utmost importance throughout.
When you have completed the course, had a cool off in the river and enjoyed yourself immensely, you will return to the base, where you will be able to change clothes if you wish, and freshen up before returning to your respective hotel in Marmaris.
Alternative times are available upon request as in peak season there are three session per day, morning, afternoon and early evening.

Bring your swimsuit beneath your t shirt and shorts. Plenty of cooling off time in the river. Don’t forget your sunglasses or sunscreen. The glasses also act as a dust barrier during the drier parts of the route. And while we are there, do bring a bandana or handkerchief to act as a dust screen for your mouth area.
Some people like to bring a change of clothes and a towel. This is optional but there will be a changing area back at the base for you to clean up and change.
Bring some money for any purchases you may wish to make like refreshments or professional pictures.
There will be cool drinks available at the Buggy base, for you to purchase if you wish.
There is likely to be a professional photographer travelling with your tour, taking the action shots that you would be unable to make with your own camera. These pictures will be made available for you to view on your return to the base, with an option to purchase if you so wish.
If you do insist on bringing your own camera with you, do keep it in a waterproof container until you need to use it.
