Jeep safari in Istanbul is an alternative day out as part of your city break. It will take place in Belgrad Forest near to Istanbul, so named after the Serbs that relocated here after the Ottoman siege of Belgrade.
You will experience the stark contrast of colours in the forest as you drive along in your all terrain vehicle, a truly alternative activity just a stone’s throw away from the commotion of city life. Your guide will also be your driver, who will take you on an off road experience through the foliage of the forest. Once you have met your driver who will also double as your guide for the day you will be ready to board the 4×4 vehicle and set off on your adventure. You will embark upon a 90 minute journey through the rugged landscape, through the deciduous forest that is broken up only by rivers and streams which of course your all terrain vehicle can do with ease.
You may also spot a lake or river where the water looks so inviting that with a quick word in the ear of your driver can become the perfect spot for a swim break. Your journey is yours and your driver will be happy to stop for you to take photos, swim or further explore as you wish. You will see many stunning views and will come across some quaint Turkish villages.
Once your tour has finished you will be responsible for your return journey to your hotel and again the team will be happy to advise you on how to do so.
