Belek rafting is a 9-hour adventure in Köprülü Canyon. With options to combine the day with quad biking, buggy, jeep safari and Tazi Canyon.
For those of you wishing to live fast and carefree this is the perfect day out for you. Speeding along the rapids and floating over the calmer waters to catch your breath, you will be able to be at one with nature in this ecologically friendly excursion.
This tour has been riding the river since 1992, with more and more people enjoying the experience every year. During the summer months now over 1000 people enjoy this tour daily, returning year after year for the adrenalin pumping experience.
Turkey has fast become a popular destination for professional and amateur rafters alike thanks to the differing levels and options of rafting available. You are sure to have a great time riding along the foamy waters surrounded by the most beautiful countryside.
After you have completed a three hour section of the river you will stop for a lunch, usually barbecued chicken or fish with salad and pasta, on the riverside and a welcome break for perhaps a little sunbathing or swimming in the cool waters of the Köprülü canyon river. Should you require a vegetarian lunch , please let us know when booking.
The raft leaves the ancient bridge and base at around 11.00 am for the three hour duration and then lunch. Once the experience has ended you will return to the base, to view any photographs or DVDs that you may wish to purchase and to collect any belongings you may have left there. You will return, via the same vehicle, to your original point of pick up in Belek.

Included in your ticket price is your pick up and drop back to hotel in Belek, with a guide service throughout the day. Lunch is also included as is essential safety equipment for your tour, i.e. helmet and life jacket.
Not included are any drinks you may wish to buy or extra rafting equipment such as shoes. These can be purchased or hired at the base. You may choose to wear your own shoes, we do not recommend open sandals or shoes that will easily loosen or fall from your feet. Optional extras are drinks or sundries, such as photographs.
Canyoning and Ziplining are also available as payable optional extras, lasting around half an hour each , and are usually offered and or undertaken before your river rafting experience.
The tour is not recommended for pregnant women. Children from all ages are welcome to this tour. Under 15s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you have long hair we recommend that you tie hair back before you leave your hotel and follow the safety issues as instructed, of yourself and fellow rafters at all times. Your Guide will tell you what is and is not acceptable on the raft. Do wear short and T shirts or bathers for those swim opportunities and bring spare clothes and a towel for your return to the base point. You will be able to leave them under lock until your return. Do bring sun cream and sunglasses.
In the same vein we do not recommend that you bring jewellry, mobile phones or cameras. These can be left under lock at the base also and will be secure until your return.
There is resident photographer who will be busy throughout the day and those pictures will be available to buy once you return to the base at the end of the tour.
Belek Rafting tour was decent, but not exceptional. Cold waters and challenging rapids were thrilling and included lunch was satisfying. However, long journey to reach site and additional cost for drinks were drawbacks. Overall, fun experience, but room for improvement.

Family friendly rafting at its finest! Our group of 7, including a 12 year old, had a blast. Rapids, laughter and views, unbeatable! Don't forget proper footwear!
Belek rafting is a gem! Went with 9 friends and it was a blast. Cold, refreshing waters, challenging waves and a great lunch included. Don't miss out on this exhilarating experience if you're in Belek! However, long journey and drinks being extra were a downside.
Highlight of our trip! Thrilling 3 hour rafting adventure on beautiful river. Small boat for two, icy waters and heart pounding waves, loved every moment. Lunch was good, especially salad! 👍
