Belek Green Canyon boat trip is an all-inclusive 8-hour day trip with two swim breaks on the Green lake.
If you fancy a day away from the beach, but don’t want to give up on sunbathing, a day with a difference will be the coach to Green Canyon and a boat trip along the cool green waters of Oymapinar Dam. This is a tour as gentle as you want it to be, with a choice of watersports at the Lake, or simply a relaxed take it as it comes kind of day, walking around the beautiful lakeside scenery, or taking a long cool drink at a lakeside restaurant and watching everyone else in action.
High up in the Taurus mountains surrounding the Belek region, the lake is a manmade reservoir, famed for its amazing beauty. Called the Green Canyon since the waters are shaded by the lush green vegetation that grows high along the banks of the lake and canyon. This gives the water an almost translucent shade of emerald green, beautiful to see, and some of the cleanest water you will ever bathe in, at around 12 degrees centigrade, possibly the coolest too!

The tour program begins by picking you up from your hotel in Belek, where you will be welcomed aboard an air conditioned, comfy coach, by your English speaking guide, who will be with you throughout the tour. When everyone is picked up you will head up into the Taurus mountains and towards the Green Canyon itself.
As you approach the reservoir you will be able to see, from a high observation deck, the full extent of the lake and its natural beauty. This is an ideal photo opportunity offering you extensive views of the area.
Statistically, Oymapinar Lake is the fourth largest in Turkey, 185 metres in height from sea level and 360metres in width and the depth of the lake is 100 metres. The panoramic views are breathtaking from this vantage point.
Next you will be taken down to the lakeside itself where you can swim, fish or partake of the numerous watersports on the lake. Before lunch a yacht tour of the lake will begin, where you can travel the length of the lake and marvel at the views from a different level. With the natural flora and fauna to bemuse you and the sounds of the birds in the trees, you may begin to believe you have arrived in paradise.
Lunch follows at the shoreside, usually Trout, caught locally and baked in a delicious, Turkish style in a local tradition. Unlimited soft drinks accompany your lunch and there is no better ambience to sit, eat and relax than at a waters edge restaurant. After your lunch, you will enjoy free time, where again, walking, sunbathing or getting involved in the lakeside water sports will be among your options.
At the designated time and spot you will meet your guide, rejoin your coach and make the descent back to Belek and your hotel.
