Belek Buggy Safari

  Last Updated: April 18, 2024

Belek buggy safari is 1hour 45 minutes of dusty and muddy experience through rocky trails, forests, and rivers.

The Buggy Safari goes out twice daily from the base above Belek.  This adrenalin spiked tour takes you from the quiet roads out of Belek up into the foothills of the Taurus Mountains to the base, where you will join the off road safari through breathtaking scenery, with the distant backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea,  Through rocky pathways, mud and dust, and did we mention mountain streams!

With all that beauty going on around you and the speed ride through the mountain paths, expect to hear screams of delight and laughter as you negotiate the route successfully.  This tour is for anyone who loves to have a go, who loves the adrenalin rush of something different, for everyone who loves that sense of achievement when they have triumphantly made it to the end of the route.

The buggies are sometimes known as frame cars.  They travel lower than their counterpart quad bikes, and passenger and driver sit side by side, as opposed to one behind the other.  Because they travel lower they can appear to be travelling faster than the quads, though this is not the case.  They inevitably make for a fun ride through one of Turkey’s loveliest regions.

Belek Buggy Safari Program

You will be picked up by fully air conditioned transport, from your hotel and taken up to the cooler mountain buggy base.  There you will be greeted by your professional guide and introduced to your buggy and its workings.  A safety talk from your guide and a short introductory drive, given your safety helmet for the tour and it will be time to start out!

Taking you through various terrain, muddy, dusty, dry and wet, rocky and sandy,  you will go through it all, with the constant supervision of a tail and lead guide buggy to make sure you don’t get into any difficulties.  In the unlikely chance that you do, don’t worry, your guide will be at your side and helping you instantly.

The whole safari lasts around 4 hours, with an approximate 2 hour ride across the safari course.

A professional photographer may be with you throughout the tour, taking those candid shots you never thought possible, they will be available for you to view at the end of the tour, with, of course, the option of purchasing them.

When you have completed the safari and arrived back at base, you will have the chance to shower off and change if you so wish, before your transport arrives to take you back to your Belek pick up point.
