Antalya Rafting

  Last Updated: May 23, 2023

Antalya rafting is a 9-hour, 12-kilometer adventure that can be combined with quad biking, buggy ride, jeep safari, zipline and Tazi Canyon.

Paddling through the emerald waters of the magnificent Köprülü Canyon, passing rapids with professional rafting instructors, swimming, enjoying a delicious lunch, and both transfers – this is a great offer.

Don’t be daunted; it’s not going to be difficult. Rapids are not so hard and this tour is suitable for children.

You can enhance your overall experience by combining your thrilling rafting adventure with a scenic buggy ride, quad biking, jeep safari, ziplining or a trip to Tazi Canyon.

As you paddle down the medium rapids of Köprülü Canyon in Antalya, you will feel a sense of freedom and adventure. You will gain so much on this tour, with an oar in your hand and an entire team of like-minded people in your boat.

Köprülü Canyon National Park is one of the best places in the world for river rafting. The river originates from the Taurus Mountains and flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It is classified as a Level 1-2 medium, according to international river rafting standards, making it just right for first-time rafters.

It’s not too hard, but not so easy that it turns into a lazy river ride. Instead, you will enjoy speeding along the bubbling, foaming waters in parts and savoring the quieter moments to catch your breath.

Your route will take you along 12 kilometers of river, flanked by the natural beauty of the riverbank scenery. During the day, you will also have free time for swimming and relaxation.

Are there any restrictions?

Antalya rafting tours are not recommended for pregnant women. However, most adults, whether swimmers or non-swimmers, can navigate the waters as the difficulty level is classified as 1-2.

What do I get with my ticket?

Your ticket price includes pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or apartment in Antalya, as well as guiding service. Guides are proficient in English, Turkish, German and Russian, ensuring good communication at all times.

Your rafting equipment, including a helmet and life jacket, is also included in your ticket price, as well as your lunch.

Do I need to bring money to spend?

Optional extras include drinks you purchase during the tour, as well as photographs or DVDs from the professional photographer accompanying you on the trip.

What to wear?

Wear your swimsuits, T-shirts, and shorts, and don’t forget to apply sun cream as there will be times of maximum exposure and the cold water of the river can be deceiving.

Sunglasses are also recommended, as well as good shoes that do not slip in the water. If you don’t have suitable shoes, they can be purchased or hired from the center for the day.

Is it OK to bring electrical equipment such as phones, camera etc...?

We do not suggest that you bring valuables such as jewelry, watches, or even mobile phones as it would be regrettable if they were lost or damaged in transit through the waters.

However, a resident photographer will be available to capture those special moments, so you may consider leaving your camera at home too.

Was an amazing day! We even got to try our hand at cliff jumping and zip-lining. Scenery of the canyon was breathtaking.

Price is cheaper than in a hotel. There is a shuttle, there were two stops for swimming and one for food. If you’re a beginner, don’t be afraid, it’s easy.

River was refreshing and cool, and it was great to be able to get away from the heat of the summer sun. Thank you Hayat, for providing the fun day for us.
