A different way to enjoy the Anatolian sunshine, and Turkey’s incredible culture, is by boat. The boat travels from the town of Manavgat through some of the most beautiful scenery in Southern Turkey. With the emerald green of the river soothing you along the way, this is arguably the most relaxing tour of your holiday.
The boat is large and comfortable enough to accommodate you and make the most of your day on the river. The colour of the river is a striking emerald green, with flora and fauna; this is one of the most beautiful areas of Turkey.
If you are lucky, you will see river turtles bobbing their heads out of the water and sometimes swimming alongside the boat.
The boat’s lower deck is to relax with comfortable seating, while the upper deck is used as a sunbathing deck. With that gentle sway of the water as you slow down your pace of life, can there be a better way to relax? Past fish farms and a river shipyard, the scenery is as diverse and entertaining as possible.

In 2025, the price of the Antalya Manavgat River Cruise is 30 € for adults, 15 € for children between the age of 4 and 11, and free for children under four years old.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Antalya region in a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Next, you will go to the Manavgat river harbour to your waiting boat.
As you cruise the river, you can enjoy the sundeck and the glorious scenery of the riverbank, gently flowing along to the point where the river and the Mediterranean Sea meet. Here you will stop for a swim break and marvel at the cold river water as it meets the warmer seawater.
There will then be a short break for swimming and a little beach time classed as the free time where you can stay on board the boat, walk around the sandy area, or even see the ruins of a 2nd-century Roman temple. The choice is yours!
Once you have enjoyed the break, you will embark once again for lunch before travelling on to the city of Manavgat.
You will be able to see an authentic Turkish Bazaar, where you may learn the ability to ‘haggle’ for prices, an experience all of its own. In your free time, you can walk around the town and learn a little about Turkish culture and the friendliness of the people.
Next, you will continue to Manavgat waterfall which is just outside of Manavgat town. You will have 45 minute free time there.
After the Manavgat waterfall visitation, you will be taken back to your hotel in Antalya.
