Antalya Quad Biking

Came out to Antalya on my own and ended up sharing a double quad with another solo traveller — the instructors paired us up without any fuss, which I really appreciated. Never having ridden before, I was nervous, but the test loop settled my nerves completely and the pace felt genuinely manageable throughout.

Absolutely brilliant craic from start to finish — our instructor was endlessly patient with two complete quad-biking novices from Cork, and the river crossings alone were worth every cent.

Travelling solo from Australia, I ended up sharing a double quad with another solo traveller the operators paired me with, and honestly it was one of the best decisions I could have made — having someone else on the bike made the whole thing feel less intimidating as a complete beginner. The instructors were genuinely exceptional: patient, encouraging, and clearly experienced at reading how comfortable each rider was, so nobody felt rushed or left behind. The trail itself blew me away — proper mud, actual river crossings up to the axles, dusty forest tracks — nothing about it felt staged or watered down for tourists. After the first session I walked down to the Kursunlu river during the break and jumped in to rinse off, which was a perfect way to cool down and catch a breath before heading back out. For the price, the whole package — pickup, helmet, fuel, instructor time, the base camp facilities — felt like extraordinary value, especially compared to similar experiences back home that cost three times as much.

Neither of us had been on a quad before, so we were genuinely a little nervous when we climbed onto the double — but the instructor who looked after our group was brilliant at putting everyone at ease from the very start. He took the time during the test loop to check that I was comfortable with the throttle and braking before we headed into the forest, which made a real difference to my confidence. The trail itself was far more varied and exciting than either of us anticipated: proper river crossings with the water coming up over the wheels, steep muddy climbs, and long dusty stretches through the pines. We were absolutely caked by the end of the first session, which made the break at the river between the two runs feel like an absolute gift — the water was refreshing and we genuinely needed it. For a couple with no experience at all, sharing one vehicle turned out to be a really good call; it felt manageable and we both came away wanting to book solo quads next time. The value for money is genuinely outstanding — we'd happily pay more and still feel like we'd got a good deal.
