You would be forgiven for thinking that you are in a more tropical destination as you look upon the white sands and glass like waters surrounding the Island at Suluada. It is compared by many to the Maldives and it takes little imagination to see why. As you approach the island you will be amazed at the contrast of rugged rocky terrain meeting the calm clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The water here is clean and transparent as you would expect from more tropical climates and is as picturesque as the more expensive Maldives or Seychelles. You are sure to feel like you have arrived in paradise as you swim in the warm waters and enjoy the white sand beaches.
There are two beaches on the island, one is 50 metres long and the other is 120 metres long. Both are covered with a dusting of white sand that reaches the gentle foam of the waves lapping at the beach. The waters at these beaches are shallow and perfect for paddling or a swim. If you are looking for a bit more of an adventure you may also wish to swim to one of the many caves found along the island edges as well as under water caves. There is a point on the Island where the Sea has created a swim way under the rocks so that you can swim from one side to the other.
So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to grab your snorkels and fins and book yourself on this amazing day out with scenery that is second to none!
