Frequently Asked Questions

How much is the Antalya City Tour?
Prices start at €22 per adult for the Waterfalls package, €30 with the boat trip, €58 with the Olympos cable car, and €65 with both the cable car and the boat. Children aged 4–11 pay €18 on the Waterfalls package, €22 on the Boat Trip package, and €45 on either cable-car package. Infants 0–3 travel free on a parent's lap. Every package includes hotel transfers, a guide, lunch, entrance fees and insurance.
How and when do I pay?
You pay nothing online when you book — there is no advance card charge. You pay your guide on the day of the tour, by cash or card, in Turkish lira, euros, pounds or US dollars. Your booking is confirmed instantly and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour.
Is this a private or a group tour?
It is a shared group tour on a modern, air-conditioned coach (Mercedes Sprinter, Otokar Sultan or Mercedes Travego, depending on group size), not a private tour.
Which package should I pick?
If you want the most for the least, or you are travelling with young children, the Waterfalls (€22) or Boat Trip (€30) package keeps the day shorter and lighter. If you came for the summit views, pick the Olympos Cable Car package (€58) and accept a longer day — about 50 minutes' drive each way to the station near Kemer. If you want everything in one day, the Cable Car & Boat package (€65) does it all.
Is the Antalya City Tour suitable for young children and families?
Yes. Infants 0–3 travel free on a parent's lap and children 4–11 pay a reduced rate. For families with young children we usually recommend the Waterfalls or Boat Trip package, because both stay in and around Antalya, keep the day shorter and less tiring, and the boat trip is enjoyable for kids. We do not provide child car seats — a child who needs their own seat should be booked as a child (4–11).
Is the Olympos cable car open in winter, and will there be snow at the summit?
Yes, the Olympos (Tahtalı) cable car runs through winter. The summit (2,365 m) is much colder than Antalya at sea level in any season, and snow is typical from November through April, usually fully melting by about the end of May. Bring a layer year-round. If fog closes the summit on your day, we refund the cable-car portion of your package.
Is there an annual maintenance closure on the cable car?
Yes. The Olympos cable car has a roughly 10-day maintenance closure in late March or early April each year. If your booking falls in that window, we refund the cable-car portion of the package.
What happens if it rains or the boat is cancelled?
The tour runs in rain. If the boat is cancelled due to wind or sea conditions, we refund the boat fee and add about an hour of free time in Kaleiçi — the boat is not rescheduled. If fog closes the Olympos summit, the cable-car portion of the package is refunded.
How long is the day, and how far is the Olympos cable car from Antalya?
The full tour is around 8 hours. The Olympos cable car is near Kemer, about 50 minutes' drive from Antalya depending on traffic and where your hotel is, so the cable-car packages make for the longest day. The Waterfalls and Boat Trip packages stay closer to the city.
What is the best time of year to do the tour?
Spring and autumn are the most comfortable. Summer can be very hot for the walking and viewpoints. The tour runs daily through winter too, but the boat trip can be cancelled on windy days and the cable car can be closed by fog, so the Waterfalls-only package is the safest winter choice.
Do I need a guide, or can I explore Kaleiçi on my own?
On the Waterfalls and Cable Car packages, your guide walks you through Kaleiçi — Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman houses, the Clock Tower and the Yivli (Fluted) Minaret — and explains the history, then gives you about an hour of free time to wander, have a coffee or visit a nearby museum before meeting back at a set point. On the Boat Trip and Cable Car & Boat packages, there is no separate Kaleiçi free-time block — the group does the guided walk and then heads to the boat. You can of course return to Kaleiçi on your own another day.
How much walking is there, and is it stroller-friendly?
The walking is moderate and most stops are easy. Kaleiçi is the exception: its streets are cobbled and uneven, so a stroller can struggle there even though the rest of the tour is fine. A foldable stroller is the most practical option for families.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
It is not very comfortable for wheelchair users, because the day involves a lot of getting on and off the coach and, on some packages, boarding a boat and a cable-car cabin — all of which involve steps — and Kaleiçi's streets are cobbled. It is possible to join with a companion who can assist.
Are there vegetarian, vegan or halal meal options?
Lunch is halal. There is a vegetarian pide option (cheese and vegetables), and vegans can be served a salad on request — just let us know before the tour.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
Hotel pick-up is free within our covered pick-up zones across the Antalya region. Enter your hotel or address when you book to confirm it is in range; if it is not, you can choose a meeting point instead. Pick-ups run on a zone schedule between roughly 08:00 and 09:00.
What languages is the tour in?
The tour is guided in English, German or Russian. Where bookings allow, we split buses by language so each group has a single-language guide; on smaller departures a multilingual guide covers two or three languages on the same bus.
What's included, and where is lunch?
All packages include round-trip hotel transfers, a guide, the Düden Waterfalls, lunch, entrance fees and insurance; the cable car, boat trip and Dinopark are included on the packages that feature them. Lunch is a traditional Turkish meal — at the 01 Adana restaurant in Konyaaltı on the Waterfalls and Boat Trip packages, or at the restaurant inside Dinopark on the cable-car packages. Drinks are not included and bottled water is not provided.
Is Dinopark a rides park, and are there extra fees inside?
Dinopark is a park of life-sized dinosaur models, not a rides park. The included entrance covers all the exhibits and the on-site restaurant — there are no rides to pay separately for.
Do I need to tip the guide and driver?
Tipping is entirely discretionary — there is no expected amount. Anything you choose to tip is shared between the guide and the driver.
How much should I expect to pay for drinks?
We do not publish a fixed price list for drinks at the lunch restaurants or the boat bar; expect prices comparable to other Antalya tourist restaurants and cafés.
Does the tour run every day, and is there a minimum group size?
The tour runs daily, year-round. Confirmation is instant when you book and we do not enforce a customer-side minimum group size — your departure is not cancelled at the last minute for low numbers.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes for Kaleiçi's cobblestones, a warm layer for the Olympos summit (cold in every season), sun cream and a hat in warm months, a camera, and some cash for drinks, snacks or souvenirs.

Five of us came out to Antalya with fairly modest expectations for an organised day trip, and this tour completely exceeded every single one of them. The Olympos cable car was the undisputed highlight — rising to over 2,300 metres above the coastline, we were genuinely speechless at the panoramic views stretching across the Mediterranean, and our guide gave us plenty of time at the summit to soak it all in and take photos without feeling rushed. Kaleici old town was a wonderful surprise too; wandering through the narrow lanes past Hadrian's Gate and down to the old harbour felt like stepping through centuries of history, and our guide's commentary brought real depth to what we were seeing rather than the usual surface-level facts. The Duden Waterfalls were spectacular in a completely different way — watching water cascade directly into the sea below is one of those sights that photographs simply don't do justice to. Even Dinopark, which we'd privately joked about beforehand, turned out to be a genuinely entertaining lunch stop that had our group laughing and acting like children again, which is exactly what a friends' trip should involve.

What they didn't like

The drinks not being included in the lunch felt like a small oversight given how generous everything else was — a soft drink or two would have rounded things off nicely. That said, it's a very minor point on an otherwise brilliant day.

Our group of friends had a brilliant time — the Lower Duden Waterfall dropping straight into the sea is something you genuinely have to see to believe, and the boat trip around Kaleici harbour rounded off the day perfectly.

What they didn't like

The guide was pleasant but occasionally rushed us through the old town, leaving less free time to explore than we'd hoped.

What they didn't like

Travelling with two young children can make tours a bit of a gamble, but this one held up surprisingly well for most of the day. The Lower Duden Waterfall was an absolute highlight — watching the water crash directly into the sea genuinely stopped the kids in their tracks, and we must have taken about fifty photos from different angles along the clifftop path. Kaleici old town was lovely to wander around; the narrow streets and the old harbour kept even our restless six-year-old engaged, and there were plenty of spots to grab an ice cream while exploring independently. The boat trip was a nice touch too — an hour on the water gave everyone a chance to relax, and the kids loved watching the coastline from the sea. The included lunch was decent enough, and having a vegetarian pide option for our eldest was genuinely appreciated.

What they didn't like

The guide was pleasant but tended to rush explanations and occasionally seemed more focused on keeping the group moving than on actually answering questions — with curious children in tow, we would have loved a bit more patience and depth at each stop. The group was also on the larger side, which made it harder to hear clearly and meant the stops in Kaleici felt a little short once everyone had reassembled. For a family of four the value felt a touch steep given that drinks at lunch weren't included and you're essentially paying extra for every bottle of water.
