A 4 x 4 Land Rover Safari jeep will pick you up from your hotel between 08:20 am – 09:00 am, and the adventure will begin. You will travel with a convoy of jeeps and have a tour guide and chauffeur in your vehicle. The professional guide will give you information about the sights throughout the day.
You have an opportunity to make a water battle in your jeep. At the start of your tour, you can choose to join the water battles or not and hop into a jeep accordingly. If you would like to attend the fun, bottles filled with water will be ready under your seat.
When you take the road, you will pass through pine forests at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, which are over 1500 metres. During your ascent, you will leave the city behind and be amazed by nature’s stunning views. The road will be more colourful and aromatic after this ascent as you travel through the orange, lemon and banana plantations. While you satisfy your visual and aromatic senses, you will fill with adrenalin, laughter, and dust.
After 30 – 45 minutes of driving, you will reach Sarılar Village. You will have a chance to visit traditional country houses, mosques, and historical bridges and experience that village’s local life. You can observe Green Canyon during this stage or enjoy the scene overlooking Green Lake.
The next stop will be a village restaurant named Eser for a freshly cooked lunch. The lunch menu includes chicken or fish, bulgur pilaf, pasta and salad. Drinks are extra.
If you want to get much more joy from your tour, you can join the Green Canyon boat trip. It takes 1.30 – 2 hours. During the boat trip, you can cool off on swimming breaks. After this trip, you will return to Sarılar Village. Another option to get joy from your tour is to see the breathtaking Manavgat Waterfall. The entrance price is only 1 Euro.
Your tour will end at 15.30. However, if you prefer to see Manavgat Waterfall, it will end at 16.30.
What a great day! Jeep Safari was an exciting adventure from start to finish. Water fights added a fun twist and views of mountains were breathtaking. Village was charming and traditional houses and bridges were a fascinating glimpse into local life. Lunch was delicious. Don’t miss option to see Manavgat Waterfall, well worth extra time. Jeep Safari was an absolute blast! Journey through mountains was both exciting and scenic. Village was a hidden gem with its traditional houses and mosques. Lunch at village restaurant was delicious and I chose Green Canyon boat tour, it was a very nice experience. If you are up for it, Manavgat Waterfall is perfect way to round off day.
