Our minibus will take you to the pier, where a comfortable ship will be waiting. We will sail up Manavgat river, visit beautiful beaches and see ancient buildings in the mountains. Further up. We will swim in the clear waters of the canyon, visit dams on the river, with views that are simply indescribable. Lunch at the restaurant by the river (included in the price of the tour) will help you to recharge your batteries. The soft drinks in this tour are unlimited. Even those who don’t like taking pictures won’t be able to resist the beauty of local nature and decide to take a picture. And on your return, the play of the sun, which has begun to lower to the horizon, will show the area in a completely different, unfamiliar way. One of over 300 Turkish Dams, the Oymapinar Dam, or Green Canyon Dam as it is more aptly known, is the fourth highest Dam in Turkey. Over 17 kilometres of beautiful backdrop scenery awaits you on this magical waterway tour. Thanks to the Dam surrounding villages and towns have a guaranteed water supply through the drier months of the year. It has also helped to form a stunning turquoise lake.
With the colours of nature surrounding you, the Dam is an ecologists dream beneath the blue skies, green waters and the Anatolian sunshine, you will feel privileged just to sunbathe as you sail along through the canyon and onto the more open waters of the Oymapinar Lake.
The area provides a habitat to hundreds of interesting species of fish,mammals and birds alike, one of which being the rare Brown Fish Owl that is unfortunately in danger of extinction. Whilst it is rare to spot one of these majestic creatures it may pay off to keep your eyes peeled on the rocks and trees surrounding the lake.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Alanya and taken to the harbour, near to the town of Manavgat, in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. Indeed it is the Taurus Mountains that form the backdrop scenery of this extremely beautiful boat trip.
Once you have been picked up in the comfortable air conditioned transfer and welcomed aboard your yacht for the day, you will be greeted by your Captain and or guide, who will give you information about the Green Canyon Dam and the yacht on which you are sailing. All guides speak English, Turkish and German. There will be changing cabins on board, and you will stop frequently for swimming or snorkelling and even fishing in the emerald green waters.
Lunch will be served for you at one of the waterside restaurants. This will normally consist of fish freshly caught or chicken, together with pasta, rice or salad, and mezes (traditional Turkish starters). Soft drinks are also included in the price of your ticket. If you wish to purchase alcoholic beverages there will be a charge.
The pick up from your hotel or apartment will be around 08:30 and with a 8 hour tour duration, your return will be around 16:30.
