Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s most beautiful, mesmerising and enchanting places. It is famous for interesting rock formations that resemble tall mushrooms – named as fairy chimneys. After the eruption of Mount Erciyes thousands of years ago, the build-up of ash and basalt, coupled with erosion across the plateau, has led to their shaping.
These fairy chimneys have been carved out and used as homes and places of worship since the beginning of human history right up to the present day.
In the tour, you will also visit underground cities with several floors below the surface of the Earth. You will enter and explore these underground cities with a professional guide.
On the second day of the tour, you can join the famous hot air balloon flights at sunrise.
