This city tour with a difference begins in the early evening when the sun is at its cooolest. A tour with a difference, this does not comprise shopping experience, but takes you up to a high vantage point above the city, in the lower foothills of the magnificent Taurus Mountains, where you can enjoy the panoramic views from the terraces above Alanya.

You should expect to be picked up in a modified open air vehicle at around 17:00. Your first port of call will be the vantage point over the city where you will get to see the city laid out before you in all its glory.
From here you will travel to Damlatash Cave which will have you reminiscing on childhood stories about Aladdin. This Cave is thought to bring respite and healing to people who suffer from asthma or other bronchial ailments.
From here you will travel to Cleopatra’s Beach and on to the Castle which located at 250 metres above sea level provides another excellent vantage point over the city that looks out to sea.
Your ultimate stop on this excursion will be a visit to the 16th Century Mosque built for Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
You will make your return journey back to your original pick up point to arrive at approximately 20:00 feeling more familiar with and appreciative of the local history and culture.
Picking you up from your hotel in a specially modified for comfort, open air vehicle, you will begin your city tour.
From the photo terraces above Alanya, with its majestic location of the Taurus Mountains, you will visit the Healing Cave. Often known as Aladdins Cave, its correct Turkish name is Damlatash Cave.
Believed to have healing properties for those who suffer from asthmatic or respiratory problems, this cave is home to over 15000 stalactites and stalagmites, a breath taking experience to behold, in every sense of the word. From the cave you will be taken to Cleopatras Beach, thus named as it is believed the Egyptian queen once walked these shores. With its golden sands hugging the blue waters of the Mediterranean, you can walk in the footsteps of the famous queen herself.
You will see the Red Tower and fortress overlooking Alanya and as the sun begins to set you will visit the Sultan Suleiman Mosque. Your guide will tell you its history and give you more photo opportunities. All this with the cooler evening air and wonderful, unforgettable sunsets, just waiting for you to capture with your camera.
Then as the sun sinks lower, you will return to the ancient city of Alanya with its twinkling lights, waiting to welcome you once more to its modern hidden mysteries.

If you love to dig a little deeper in your holiday resort, and enjoy the history of an area, this is definitely for you. At a duration of around 3 hours, it is neither too long nor too short, and is suitable for able bodied people of all ages. The jeeps are modified to provide a comfortable ride for passengers, children as well as adults, groups or singles can enjoy this undemanding tour.
This tour goes out every day of the week, every evening between the hours of 17:00 pm and 20:00.
Your ticket cost includes pick up from your hotel, guide, jeep driver services and insurance, plus entranceto the castle.
There is an entrance fee payable to Dropstone Cave (optional) and any personal expenditure you choose for yourself. Though it should be noted this is a sight seeing tour and not a shopping tour, therefore optional extra expenditure would be minimal.
