Travelling with two teenagers who are notoriously hard to impress, we honestly weren't sure how the day would go — but Land of Legends won them both over within the first hour. The water slides are genuinely brilliant; there are so many to choose from that even after a full day we hadn't managed them all, and the wave pool kept the whole family happy between rides. The dolphin and beluga whale show was a real highlight that none of us expected to enjoy quite as much as we did — the kids were glued to it. Getting there was completely stress-free thanks to the hotel transfer, which was punctual, comfortable and took all the faff out of navigating an unfamiliar area. The Masha and the Bear zone was well and truly beneath our teenagers' dignity, but we appreciated how thoughtfully the park caters to younger children too — it clearly works for families across a wide age range.
The food and drink prices inside the park are steep, even by theme-park standards — we ended up spending considerably more than we'd budgeted once everyone started wanting lunch and snacks. A couple of the bigger rollercoaster-style rides also had noticeably long queues, which chipped away at the time we had available.
