Once you are picked up from your hotel or apartment in the beautiful Belek region of Antalya, you will travel to Kemer where your dive boat is waiting to travel the coastline and for you to become familiar with the unseen aquatic life of the Mediterranean.
After you arrive at the harbour you will be welcomed aboard by the professionally qualified diving instructors. The instructors will see that you are comfortable and prepare you with a safety talk about your dive. If you are a first time diver, or even if you are unable to swim, you may still dive. The buoyancy of the wet suit can give confidence and even non swimmers may find they can swim before the end of the tour.
You will receive a short induction in shallow waters so that you become familiar with the breathing apparatus and the underwater handsignals, which are a way of communicating with your instructor while diving. Please note that you will always dive with your instructor, known also as your dive ‘buddy’. Once your instructor is sure you are all able to use the breathing apparatus correctly, you will begin your first dive of the day.
The instructor will define your ability as a beginner or professional and you will be taken to a depth suitable for you. You will see many amazing species of fish swimming by you and you also see shipwrecks and the unusual flora of the undersea world. This tour is a ‘hands on’ tour where you can feed the fish from your own hands and also be able to touch the shipwrecks.
When everyone has had their first dive, a light lunch will be served on board. Drinks will be available to purchase and a little rest and relaxation time before the second dive of the day, the after lunch dive. You will usually dive to around 5 metres with your first dive, the second dive, which should see you more confident and eager to explore, will normally travel down to approximately 10 metres. Each dive lasts approximately 20 minutes. All of the equipment is new and of the highest quality.
Included in the price of your ticket is the pickup from your hotel or apartment in the Belek area, at around 08:00 and return to your original pick up point at around 17:00. The tour goes out every day and its duration time is around 9 hours. Your transfer to the dive boat in Kemer Marina is also included, as is your professional instructor and the use of the diving equipment. As an added bonus you may also make use of the snorkelling equipment on board, while you are waiting or after you have had your dive.
Lunch on board is also included in the price and is local cuisine cooked on board.
When all dives are done you will return to Kemer harbour, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel or apartment in Belek, content with your new found knowledge of the underwater world of the Mediterranean, and no doubt looking forward to your next dive.
Cost of Belek Scuba Diving is 30 € for adults, 25 € for non-diver guests who are over four years old, free for children under four years old in 2024.
The tour is suitable for everyone over the age of 14, even, as we said, non swimmers.
If a member of your group does not wish to dive but would like to come along and watch, a reduced price ticket is available. Non divers are able to swim or sunbathe and have lunch with the other divers.
Optional extras that you should consider are money for drinks purchased on board and, since there will be a resident photographer at hand throughout the day, taking those candid shots of your first dive and even feeding the fish at the bottom of the sea, some money for any photographs or DVD that you may wish to purchase.
Do bring with you your swimsuit, towel and sun cream and sunglasses.
There are changing cabins, showers and WCs on board for your convenience too, as well as sunbeds for your repose in between dives.
Had an incredible scuba diving experience with Belek Diving! Instructors were patient and professional, making me feel at ease as a first time diver. Underwater world was mesmerizing, and feeding fish from my own hands was a highlight. Lunch on board was delicious, and entire day was well organized. Can’t wait for my next dive!

Belek Scuba Diving had its ups and downs. While instructors were supportive, my lack of swimming skills was a challenge. Underwater scenery was beautiful, but shipwrecks were underwhelming. Overall, it’s an experience worth considering, but be prepared for some drawbacks.
Unforgettable day of diving in Belek! Instructors were knowledgeable, ensuring everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Underwater world was a feast for eyes and ability to touch shipwrecks was a unique thrill. Provided equipment was top notch and lunch on board was a pleasant surprise.
