Your guide will greet you and give a brief safety talk before taking you to your 4 x 4 Land Rover Jeep. The jeeps seat around 9 to 10 people and a qualified professional driver will drive you throughout the day.
Once on board your jeep, you are ready to head for the first step of your off-road mountain adventure. You will travel along the Taurus Mountains roads through traditional Turkish villages, offering you the most beautiful vistas of the Antalya you leave behind and the glistening Mediterranean in the far-off distance.
Your first village stop will allow you to meet local people in their natural habitat. You will be able to go into a village Mosque and see the villagers’ homes. On the way, you will pass through the natural pine forest of the mountains through the Cigirgan stream. You will see the pomegranate gardens and stop for a brief photo break of Taurus Mountain. Next, you will reach approximately 750 metres above sea level to see the most beautiful views of nature.
The next stop will be lunch in Hatipler Village. This is the village to have lunch. Lunch usually consists of locally caught Trout or Chicken Shish (chicken pieces cooked on a wooden skewer), Butter Rice and Shepherd’s Salad.
There is also a vegan or vegetarian option by way of an Omelette, French Fries or Baked Potato. Lunch is usually followed by seasonal fruit and Turkish tea. The restaurant is next to the Trout farm itself, and the lunch break will generally last one and a half hours.
Then along the road towards Hatipler Village and a cooling swim break in the Pinargözu Stream. After your swim break, you will return to the safari centre via the Cigirgan Stream and Haciosmanlar Village, where you will have the opportunity to view any photographs of DVDs taken of the Safari, throughout the day, with an option to purchase.
