You’ll be picked up from your hotel by air-conditioned minibuses. The pickup time depends on your location for example, around 07:20 from Kemer, and until 10:00 from Side and Manavgat. During the journey, your guide will share information not only about rafting but also about the natural beauty of the region, the history of the Taurus Mountains, and the formation of Köprülü Canyon. So the ride isn’t just transportation it’s the beginning of an enjoyable discovery.

Before getting into the river, you should have a swimsuit, comfortable sportswear, a towel, and a waterproof phone case with you. It’s best to bring these in advance, but many of these items can also be purchased or rented at the rafting center’s shop. Lockers are available for your belongings, so you don’t have to carry unnecessary items while rafting.

The Jeep Safari takes place during the transfer to the rafting area. Instead of asphalt roads, the vehicles take mountain paths, offering a thrilling ride through pine forests and dirt roads. There are short breaks at scenic spots where you can take panoramic photos. This safari makes the transfer more adventurous and exciting.

When you arrive at the rafting facility, you’ll first receive a safety briefing. The instructions cover how to paddle, what to pay attention to, and how to behave on the course. The briefing is available in four languages: English, German, Persian, and Russian. Afterward, you’ll have around 40–50 minutes of free time to change clothes, store your belongings, or take a dip in the river to get used to the water.

Rafting is done in two stages. The first stage is 8 km long and takes about 1 hour. This part helps you get used to the water and the current. The second stage is 6 km long and lasts about 40–45 minutes, with stronger currents and a faster pace. In total, you’ll spend nearly 2 hours on the river. Including the break in between, the entire activity takes up almost half a day.

All the necessary rafting equipment is provided at the rafting center, including life jackets, helmets, and paddles, which are mandatory. Safety instructors check everyone’s gear before heading to the river. Each boat has a professional guide who leads the group. If you prefer, you can opt for a two-person canoe, but you need to inform the staff at the beginning.

After completing the first part of the rafting course, lunch is served at an open-air riverside restaurant. The main course includes grilled chicken or trout, with pasta or bulgur pilaf and fresh salad on the side. Portions are generous, and you can ask for a second plate at no extra cost. Drinks are available for an additional fee. After lunch, you’ll have time to rest or cool off in the river.

The second stage features a stronger current and a more dynamic riverbed. With a more intense flow and thrilling waves, this part offers a faster pace and more adrenaline. Surrounded by steep canyon walls, pine trees, and Taurus mountain views, this segment provides a visually and physically more intense experience. It’s especially unforgettable for adrenaline seekers.

After the second stage ends, a short vehicle transfer takes you back to the facility. Here, the photos and videos taken during rafting are shown on screens, and you can purchase them if you wish. You’ll also have time to change clothes, take a shower, and relax. The return journey begins at around 16:00.

Return times vary depending on your location. For example, you’ll arrive in Alanya between 17:30 and 19:00. Delays may occur due to road conditions or seasonal traffic, but transportation is provided in comfortable, air-conditioned minibuses. After a full day of adventure, you’ll end your experience with a safe and relaxing journey back.
