Antalya Quad Safari & Rafting Tour

  Last Updated: June 30, 2025

When you join the Quad Safari & Rafting tour, you will have a very fun and different day. You will explore the muddy roads in the forest with powerful motorized quads, and you will go rafting by rowing in the cold river. Fun, excitement and nature await you.

The first part of the day is spent driving the quad. The excitement begins the moment you get on the quad vehicle. There is mud, small slopes and narrow paths along the way. You do not need to be an expert to drive the vehicle; you are given a short explanation, then you start driving immediately. You immediately feel the rhythm of the dirt roads.

As you move through the forest, you become braver at every turn. Mud splashes on you as you pass through the trees. Sometimes you go fast, sometimes you watch the view. When the tour ends, you are covered in mud, but you have a big smile on your face.

Then you go to the rafting area with a short minibus ride. Professional instructors welcome you here. You are told how to row and the safety rules. Changing rooms, shower areas and resting areas are also ready.

The river is calm in the first part of the rafting. You enjoy the river and nature for 8 kilometers. Everyone takes the paddle and you move forward together. After the first part, there is a nice lunch break.

Rafting becomes more exciting after lunch. The water flows faster, the waves are bigger. There are mountains, forests and rocks around you. You feel like you are in the middle of nature. When the tour is over, they drop you off back at your hotel. You can’t easily forget a day like this!

Q&A

What are the features of the Quad Safari track and what is the level of driving difficulty?

The safari track consists of rugged terrain paths, water crossings, and narrow trails. This section lasts about 30 minutes and offers a very fun driving experience thanks to muddy areas and small hills. The quad vehicles are automatic and driven under the guidance of instructors. A short training is provided for those who have never driven a quad before, and guides accompany you throughout the ride.

Is there a preparation process before the quad safari after being picked up from the hotel in the morning?

Yes. When you arrive at the facility before starting the quad safari, there is a vehicle introduction, safety briefing, and equipment distribution. Helmets are mandatory and provided to everyone. Guides explain in detail the basic driving information such as when to brake and how to maneuver. This preparation ensures that the tour is both safe and enjoyable.

Is there enough time and a suitable place to change clothes between the Quad Safari and Rafting activities?

Yes, at the rafting facility, there are changing cabins where you can change clothes both after the quad safari and before rafting. There are also locked lockers available for your personal belongings. Since getting dirty from dust and mud during the safari is inevitable, changing clothes before rafting is recommended. At least 40 minutes of free time is allocated between the activities.

Where can we keep our belongings during the Quad Safari?

There are locked lockers at the facility for all belongings that are not recommended to carry with you during the safari. It is advisable to leave valuables such as phones, wallets, watches, or cameras in the lockers as they may get damaged during the safari. Only small waterproof bags can be carried with you.

Is there a significant difference in difficulty or danger between the first and second stages of the rafting course?

Yes, the first stage consists of calmer currents and is suitable for beginners to get used to the water. In the second stage, the currents are stronger, the waves get higher, and maneuvers must be made more carefully, which increases the excitement level. However, there is a professional instructor in every raft, so safety is under control. Both stages are planned according to rafting skill levels and cater to different expectations.

Is there a meal break between Quad Safari and Rafting, or is the meal served after all activities?

A lunch break is given by the riverside. The menu includes grilled chicken or trout, with rice or pasta, and salad. Drinks are charged separately. No meal is served before all activities, so it is recommended to start your day with a light but filling breakfast.

What procedure is followed for those who prefer the two-person canoe option?

Those who want to raft with a two-person canoe should inform the guide of this preference before the tour starts. This option offers a more individual experience compared to the standard raft. However, these boats do not have a guide on board. It is important that you understand how to steer, maneuver, and the safety rules well. Instructors consider your physical ability and experience when deciding

Is professional photo and video shooting done during the tour? How can guests benefit from this service?

Yes, professional recordings are made with special cameras during both the safari and rafting. Action cameras are mounted on rafts during rafting, and fixed cameras are used at different points along the safari track. All visuals can be watched on screens at the facility at the end of the tour, and those interested can purchase photo or video packages.

Is it possible to add extra activities like Jeep Safari, Zipline, or Tazı Canyon on the tour day?

Yes, when you arrive at the rafting facility, guides provide information about these extra activities. You can decide to add them at that time. However, especially during peak season, quotas are limited, so it is recommended to inform early if you want to join any additional activity. Zipline is usually done before rafting, while Jeep Safari and Tazı Canyon are organized in the morning or afternoon depending on the day’s schedule.

How does the transportation process work at the end of the tour? Are there any stops or waiting times during the return?

After rafting, you are brought back to the facility by minibuses, and then the return journey begins. Each group is directed to air-conditioned minibuses according to their route. Traffic congestion may occur in tourist areas, which can cause delays, but guides and drivers manage the process regularly. Each vehicle provides direct transportation to the hotels without additional transfers or waiting.
