Side buggy safari is a half-day excursion consisting fast rides, steep turns, dust clouds and a roaring engine. A highly manoeuvrable and reliable buggy is the best way to unwind and change the monotony of a hotel holiday into something exciting.
Buggies are driven like any car, and even easier, you'll learn in minutes. What's more this lightweight all-terrain vehicle is very stable and comes with a sturdy safety frame and seat belts. It is safe to take even small children on safari trips. The driving age is 16+. Double or single seater buggies can be reserved.
The safari takes place in the Taurus Mountains, in the forest around Köprülü Canyon. The track is prepared specially for this safari with different levels of difficulty and different types of terrain: dry roads, river and puddles. Before the trip you will be taught how to steer your 'iron horse' and take a test drive. Driving time is a total of about two hours with a rest break.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses and bandanas to protect your eyes and face from dust. If you don't have them, they can be purchased at the base. Buggy safari in Side is held every day. Helmet for safe travel, buggies in good working order, showers at the base, assistance by experienced instructors and both transfers are included in the safari ticket price. The buggy tour in Side is the most popular tour along with the quad safari. We highly recommend booking it at least a day in advance.
The Buggy is a frame car, which seats up to two people, and is capable of multi terrain driving. It is open sided and you can sit side by side rather than one in front, one behind. The Buggy is lower to the ground than the Quad bike which means river riding is another experience again.
You will travel in convoy along the specially modified route, along the lower parts of the Taurus mountains, with the sparkling Mediterrenean shining in the distance. You will encounter different terrain as you ride along, encountering the mud, water and obstacles set out for you along the way, giving you that wonderful sense of achievement as you master each difficulty.
Your Instructors will head the convoy and tail the convoy so that even if you get into difficulties, they will see and come to your aid. Once again, as always, your safety is paramount. Also a team of mechanics will follow the course with you so that should there be any mechanical problems – help is at hand.

Cost of Side Buggy Safari is 35 € for single buggy car, 50 € for double buggy car in 2026. Ride lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
Younger children can ride in the Buggy though discretion is always advised as to height.
This safari is not recommended for anyone with mobility difficulties or pregnant women.
Included in the price of your ticket is a 2 hour drive, guide and instruction, insurance and use of safety helmet throughout the Safari, plus transfer to and from your hotel or apartment in the Side area.
We do suggest that you bring a little money with you for sundries such as drinks, spare bandanas or photographs. We also recommend that you bring sunglasses with you as they may protect your eyes from any dust. Likewise a bandana for your mouth and nose area is also recommended. If you do not have a handkerchief or bandana you may be able to purchase one from your Instructor at the base.
