Marmaris scuba diving is a 8-hour excursion with two dives to explore underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea.
Not all of the action in Marmaris takes place on ground level, or sky level come to that, with some of the clearest waters to enjoy, the Mediterranean coastline of this region boasts some of the best scuba diving in Turkey. If you are looking to make your day different while on holiday, the dive boat can take you to those hotspots off the shoreline, with a plethora of multi coloured fish and who knows, even an octopus or two, to keep you company.
With your professional dive instructors to buddy you through the tour you can’t go wrong. You dive together, having had instruction as to the undersea dive language before you go down. This opens up a whole new world of excitement and achievement for you, and an experience you will surely want to repeat many times. And some of the best dive schools in the country have bases in Marmaris, if you are eager to take your skills to the next level.
There are different dive packages available from the beginner dive to the PADI courses. If you need any clarification as to which package is best for you please do not hesitate to contact the reservations team for more information about availability.
In 2024, price of Marmaris Scuba Diving is 30 € for adults, 15 € for non-diver guests who are over 7 years old, free for children at and under 6 years old.
The beginners dive is a basic first time dive, but is also suitable for people who wish to repeat the easy routine of a first time. You will be picked up at your hotel in Marmaris at around 09:30. The dive boat will leave at around 10:00. Once you have been welcomed aboard you will receive safety instructions from your professional guide and given a short course in dive language, that is the hand signals which divers use to converse underwater. A short session where you get used to the snorkel and equipment and your boat heads off to a nearby cove for your initial dlive.
You will not dive alone ever, you dive with an instructor buddy. Your buddy will introduce you to the variety of sea life, all the while ensuring your comfort and safety. This dive may last around 15 minutes before you return to the surface.
When everyone has had a morning dive, a light lunch will be served on board, when you may also swim or sunbathe until the afternoon session. On to the next bay!
Your afternoon dive will be on a different part of the shore, again with your buddy.
There will be a photographer on board and under water to capture your newest adventure with pictures or a DVD that you may purchase at the end of the tour.
When the second dive is complete, your boat will return to Marmaris harbour where your transport will be waiting to return you to your hotel feeling a real sense of achievement.

Everyday throughout the summer season! With a pickup time of 09:30 approximately and return at 17:30, giving an 8 hour duration for this tour.
Most certainly. The buoyancy of the wet suit gives confidence to submerge while you still breathe. Diving and swimming are two separate things.
Unfortunately yes, if you have poor health or breathing difficulties we do not recommend the diving for you. Children under the age of 13 are also unable to dive for legal reasons.
Yes! Your purchased ticket will tell the Dive Company exactly how many tanks have to be filled for the following day. Bubble watchers, as they are sometimes called can quite happily join the dive boat, swim, sunbathe or just watch family members or friends take their dive turn. They will even have lunch with you. Unfortunately they are unable to change their mind on the day as the air tanks are already allocated. Usually the bubble watch price has a reduction on the dive price.
Not at all. This is a basic introductory dive designed to whet your appetite and leave you wanting more. If you wish to become a more experienced diver you should mention to the Captain of the boat, who will introduce you to the local dive companies.
Extremely unlikely! This tour takes you to the more shallow waters of the shoreline. Of course it can’t be entirely ruled out, but the shark population rarely move into the shallow waters. There will be lots of different fish varieties for you to see, and maybe the odd turtle or octopus!
