Kusadasi Jeep Safari Tour Program

Your day begins with being picked up from either your Kusadasi Hotel or the Port.  Here you join the convoy of jeeps you will be travelling with, and get to meet your driver and your English speaking guide, who will be with you throughout the day.

Then you begin your ascent, leaving the town behind and up towards the pine mountains of the Kusadasi National Park.  You will visit the Kursunlu Monastery  and Echo Valley, Zeus Cave where you can take a little free time and relax.  Water gun fights usually ensue somewhere before you reach your lunch venue.

With friendly staff and that wonderful Anatolian sunshine, relaxing and having fun can be said in the same breath.  Lunch, at a local mountain restaurant, is usually BBQ chicken or fish, rice and salad, served with deliciously fresh Turkish bread.  After lunch you begin your descent back towards Kusadasi via Long Beach, where you may enjoy the soft sand, take a cooling dip in the sea or take a walk along the coastline, before your jeep is ready to return to the City and your hotel.

What is included for the price?

Your tour for the day (duration time of around 8 hours).

Plus all the fun you can handle.

What should I budget for?

Any purchases you may make throughout the duration of the tour.

This will include drinks and/or any DVDs or photographs taken by the resident cameraman.

Is it safe?

The jeeps are well maintained throughout the summer season and all year round, by professional mechanics.  They seat up to 11 people (12 with driver) and are never overfilled.  There are mandatory seat belts on board also.  The drivers are professionally qualified and know the route well.

What do we need to take with us?

Wear your swimsuit beneath loose shorts and t shirt where possible.  Don’t forget to bring a towel but do keep it in a waterproof bag!

Bring your sun cream, sunglasses and appropriate footwear.  Your sunhat may get blown away with the fun of it all.

Bring some money for drinks and anything you choose to eat surplus to your lunch (which is inclusive in the price).

If you choose to bring your camera make sure you keep it in a waterproof bag.  Likewise you might choose to bring snacks along with you, once again to keep them watertight.

Who enjoys jeep safari and are there any restrictions?

Whole families, singles and groups, find the Jeep Safari to be one of the most fun days of their holiday.  So much so that many choose to go more than once!  Very young children may find it too rough and likewise, if anyone has health problems, it may be a little bit too much for them, do consider this when booking.  Older children particularly enjoy the water gun fights, especially the very older children 45 years and over!  It is true that everyone (women included) turn  into a 6 year old when the waterguns appear.

All of this, with amazing scenery, fascinating mountain sites that you would otherwise never see, the Jeep Safari offers culture, fun and a chance to make new friends as you go, whether you are wet or dry.

Is there anything more we should know?

There should be a resident cameraman taking photographs and or DVD throughout your tour, which would be available to purchase  at the end of the day.

That’s about it, it just cannot be stressed enough  that you should keep any valuables and or electronic equipment in a waterproof container throughout the tour
