The yellow tour does just it what it says, taking you through the ochre and yellow rocks of the valleys with their own distinctive features. The landscape can appear so alien you may be forgiven for thinking it looks like another planet. In fact it takes you back to the initial spread of Christianity with its churches and monasteries.
Included in your tour is a visit to Goreme with its fairy tale chimneys and unusual rock formations it has earned its UNESCO World Heritage Site acclaim. This tour usually culminates in a visit to the underground city of Kaymaklı. The unforgettable city carved from what once must have been soft volcanic rock, proving to be 8 floors of subterranean safe housing for the early people of this time. Prepare to be amazed as you are able to discover 4 of these floors today, with their tunnelled streets, stables and churches. Kaymaklı became a self contained community.

Cost of Cappadocia Yellow Tour is 75 € for adults, 70 € for children between 4-11 years old and free for children under 3 years old in 2026.
Cappadocia covers such a large area that tour zones have been colour coded to help visitors get the most out of their visit. The red tour covers the north of the area whilst the blue tour covers the south. The yellow tour is a walking tour.
Your hotel transfer to and from the trail is included and you will be accompanied by an English speaking guide. Museum entries and lunch are also included.

Not for anyone with walking difficulties. There is some climbing involved and younger family members may not find it entertaining.
If you are bringing small children with you be aware that they may not have individual seating on the coach.
