What about lunch? Sure, you will go to a restaurant in the mountains by the water and enjoy some delicious Turkish dishes.

While sailing back, The sun starts to set, and the places you’ve seen before look different. The photos taken in the Green Canyon always stand out against the standard holiday shots from Turkey. When you return to your hotel in the evening, you’ll be full of pleasant impressions.

The lake at Oymapinar is astoundingly clear, and the waters reflect the lush greenness of the surrounding nature. The waterways once provided fresh, clean water to the ancient town of Side. You may still see some ancient building ruins along the way.

The Oymapinar Dam is an engineering and ecological wonder. The area is home to much incredible flora and fauna though it is perhaps important to note that it is one of the few places where the Brown Fish Owl, a rare and endangered species, can be spotted.

With its emerald green waters flowing beneath the blue Anatolian sky, the colours of nature will enhance you as you sail along.

I had a great time exploring Green Canyon. The place is beautiful and serene, with a stunning lake and green forests. I loved the fact that there were no crowds or boats due to the season, making it very peaceful. I highly recommend this trip.

Green Canyon is worth a visit for its spectacular views. We went to the canyon as part of an excursion. Before we got there we stopped just below the dam to see it in all its splendour. Then we took a boat trip on the waters of the canyon. During the journey we made two stops for swimming in the lake and a stop for food. The photos taken are beautiful, but unfortunately they do not fully reflect the experience.

I had an amazing time visiting the canyon in January 2023. The weather was perfect, and it was very peaceful with no crowds.
