Bodrum Village Tour

  Last Updated: July 7, 2024

While the resorts and their myriad markets, bars and restaurants are fascinating, they are only a glimpse of true Turkish life. To look a little closer it is wisest to book a village tour, where you can see for yourself why Turkey is known for its hospitality and cultural beauty. As well as the stunning landscapes you encounter, there is a culture that has endured for centuries among the people here. A village tour will take you to the far east of the Bodrum peninsula, with its unforgettable sunsets and picture postcard white houses.

If every region of Turkey has its own merits, the Bodrum area of Mugla County sits quietly away from the noise and frivolity of the resort towns, waiting to be discovered by you, and to provide enduring memories of friendly faces in their natural working environment.

You will get to see how life in the village is like and locals are sure to greet you with a smile. You may sample Turkish Tea or Coffee in an authentic setting. If you have never tasted either before you are in for a treat. Tea is served in a glass and the Turkish coffee cup is very small, affording you maybe a handful of sips. Nevertheless once you have tasted the coffee, no other coffee is likely to taste as good to you. Likewise the tea or Cay, is most refreshing served in a glass.

The journey out of Bodrum up through the mountains and to the far end of the peninsula will enchant you and stay with you long after you return home.
