Bodrum Orak Island Boat Trip Itinerary

You will be picked up from your Bodrum accommodation in the morning at a prearranged time, by comfortable air conditioned transport, that will take you down to the harbour and your waiting boat. Once everyone is welcomed aboard, the boat will up anchor and set sail along the Aegean coastline. Your first stop for swimming, sunbathing and amazing photo opportunities is the very scenic German Bay. From there onto the centrepiece of this tour, Orak Island Bay. Here you will spend 2 hours of enjoyable time, with its many photographic backgrounds and glorious beaches.

As if this isnt enough you will visit Red Nose Bay with its clear blue waters, where the white grey rocks of antiquity silently disappear beneath the water line. It is so clear that you can see the sand of the sea bed.

Lunch will be served on board at this point, usually made up of grilled chicken salad and pasta, together with the delightfully fresh Turkish bread made throughout the region.

After lunch you will visit Tavsan Burnu or Rabbit Island, where the wild rabbits come down to the shoreline to greet the daily tour boats in the hope of some delicious scraps of lunch leftovers. As you watch, the rabbits seem to appear before your very eyes from behind the rocks and bushes of the bay, a delight to behold with their various colours.

Let us not forget the sealife on your tour. If you are very fortunate you will see dolphins and turtles at home in their natural environment, swimming alongside your boat, as you slowly return to Bodrum harbour at the end of the afternoon ready to be taken back to your hotel feeling totally relaxed!
