Lake Salda & Pamukkale tour from Alanya is a day trip to see two of Turkey’s gems – in one day.

This tour is called the “White Tour“. It earns its name from the warm water-filled white travertine terraces of Pamukkale and the stunningly white sands and crystal-clear azure waters of Lake Salda. White will never be whiter after this day.

You may have seen pictures of these beautiful sites on the internet. What about visiting there? Then let’s go!

During the day, you will also visit the historical sites of Hierapolis ancient city, such as temples, the grand theatre, museums and ancient artifacts.

You will be travelling on a comfortable bus. The bus journey is quite scenic, with beautiful landscapes and mountain views. In addition, the road passes through several towns and villages, giving you a glimpse of local life in Turkey.

Alanya Lake Salda & Pamukkale Tour Itinerary

You will be picked up from your accommodation at around 02:00 by an air-conditioned luxury coach and taken to a restaurant for breakfast. You can pay for the open-buffet breakfast in this restaurant, or you can bring breakfast boxes from your hotel.

Pamukkale

You will arrive at Pamukkale at approximately 09:00, and your guide will inform you about the history of the Hierapolis ancient city. After a short walk with your guide, you will reach the Antique pool complex, and your free time for 3 hours begins.

The antique pool is in the middle of everything and close to every important sight of Pamukkale. The pool complex has cafeterias, changing rooms, toilets, sunbeds and lockers. Your guide will be handing you a locker key, so you can safely secure your belongings.

In your free time, you can walk on the Pamukkale travertines, visit the ruins of Hierapolis ancient city or swim in the thermal pool. Whenever you come and go to the pool complex, you can find your guide there to ask questions.

Salda Lake

Following lunch, you will start your journey towards Salda Lake. You will have one hour of free time to swim in the azure waters and sunbathe on the white sands.

You will be accompanied by a local professional guide who will be happy to help you with any issues and provide you with information on all the places visited.

The cost of Alanya Lake Salda & Pamukkale tour is 30 EUR for adults, 15 EUR for children between ages 4 and 7, and free for children under four years old in 2024.

Are there any additional charges that I should be aware of?

Any drinks you purchase throughout the day are not included in the price. There are also entrance fees into pool of Cleopatra. This fee is not obligatory, nominal and locally charged.

Is it a long bus journey?

Whilst travelling a few hundred kilometres, there will be multiple convenience stops. The coach is fully air-conditioned with spacious seating. Your guide will inform you about the sites, and the time will pass quickly.

Do I need to bring my swimming costume?

You can wear your bathers under your clothes or bring them with you. There will be changing rooms on the sites. Remember to bring a towel and your sun tan lotion too!
