Rhodes paragliding is a 20-minute tandem flight with experienced pilots, taking off from a height of 150 meters near the Acropolis of Rhodes.
If you catch a thermal, you might reach up to 200 meters. Licensed professional pilots conduct all flights, and you will be provided with all paragliding equipment.
Take off site is Acropolis of Rhodes, and before your flight, you can visit Acropolis, odeon, ancient stadium and temple of Apollo.
Rhodes paragliding is avaliable for everyone over 14 years old and weigh no more than 120 kilograms. On the flight, you and your pilot will take photos and videos with GoPro cameras. These photos and videos are included in the price of the experience.
Landing site is Kato Petres beach, and after your flight you can swim in the turquoise sea at where you land.
Take off site is located next to the Rhodes Acropolis. Your pilot will be waiting for you there with the equipment.
You might consider arriving a bit early to explore the Acropolis. You can visit remains of buildings dating back to 5th century BC. Some of the important monuments to see here are temples, stadium, odeon and gymnasium.
Your pilot will introduce you to the equipment and explain the safety procedures. After the briefing, you will put on your equipment with your pilot. This process will take about 10 minutes.
When you and your pilot are ready, after a few steps of running, you will take off from 150 meters. Depending on the thermals, you might reach up to 200 meters. The flight will last about 20 minutes.
If the weather conditions are good, your pilot might let you control the parachute for a short time. If you are attending the flight with your family or friends, you can fly one next to each other.
During the flight, both you and your pilot will take photos and videos with GoPro camera. These photos and videos are included in the price of your paragliding ticket.
Rhodes paragliding ends after landing on the beach. You can relax on the beach or swim in the turquoise Aegean Sea.

Unfortunately, hotel transfer is not available for our tour. However, you can easily reach the flight area next to the Acropolis.
